Responsibilities

• Superior Quality, Inc. is looking for a quality minded leaders. We have openings for Quality Team Lead – All 3 Shifts, in the Roxboro North Carolina area. We are assisting our customers, inside of their facilities, to help manager quality issues and certify the parts before they leave their facility.

• The position is derived from a strong sense of duty to maintain the high standards set forth by SQI combined with putting in the hard work. This fast paced position ensures quick results.
  Designated work must be precise. Decision-making is a significant portion of the job but work will follow defined procedures. That said we encourage creativity to promote your ideas and the ability to train, teach, and motivate a team.

  • Can manager a team of up to 10+ people
  • Can resolve customer/employee situations professionally
  • Computer skill (MS Office) preferred
  • Have a keen eye for detail – work is repetitive so attention to detail is a must
  • Have normal color and depth perception (with or without corrective eye wear)
  • Like working with your hands and have excellent hand-dexterity
  • Can stand for an entire shift
  • Are able to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Possess basic math skills and can read, comprehend, and follow written work instructions
  • Have reliable transportation that gets you to work on time every day
  • Possess a positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Work well independently and with a team
  • Can pass a background check
  • Steel-Toed shoes required

Duties

• Ensure you stay on task, stay focused to minimize disruptions.
• Communicate with your Supervisor and teammates when new quality issues are found.
• Coordinate your team’s schedule with your Supervisor.
• Verify paperwork accuracy, scan documents into SQI’s server and file paperwork accordingly.
• Provide on-site sorting and rework as required.
• Understand standardized work procedures, and be able to train to those standards.
• Assist with the quarantine old stock.
• Respond to requests in a timely manner.
• Assist employees job tasks during breaks.
• Manage team’s inspection time to customer shipping requirements.
• Assist in problem-solving teams as required
• Arrive on-time and ready to work at the start time
• Demonstrates appropriate social behavior
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.

Compensation

$16.00 to $18.00 per hour, review at 90 days. Health Insurance, Vision Insurance available at 90 days. 401K with Match available at 1 year anniversary
